Privacy Policy

How EuroMate uses personal data to provide local interest activities.

Legal draft dated 22 July 2026. Controller identity, contact details, processors, hosting region and retention schedule must be completed and reviewed before public launch.

Data and purposes

We process account, city, interest, activity, membership, chat, safety, business-workflow and optional location data to operate the service, keep it secure and meet legal obligations. Exact location and private meeting details are never public.

Legal bases

Depending on the operation, processing is necessary for the service contract, compliance with law, legitimate interests in safety and reliability, or explicit consent for optional location and device push features.

Recipients and transfers

Infrastructure, email and approved operational processors receive only the data required for their role. Before launch, each processor, EU hosting location, DPA and any international-transfer safeguard must be listed here.

Retention

Account data is retained while the account exists unless law or an active safety hold requires longer retention. Chat, operational logs, tokens, reports and backups follow documented limited schedules. Deletion and export controls are available in the profile.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to a competent data-protection authority.
